Ghanaian rapper Keeny Ice has released his latest project titled “Ice Cold”, a six-track EP that boldly reaffirms his lyrical prowess and growing dominance in the Ghanaian hip-hop scene. The project, now available on all major streaming platforms and exclusively featured on cedanewsgh.blogspot.com, delivers a perfect mix of introspection, street truth, and musical experimentation.
“Ice Cold” opens with “Dear God,” produced by Hairlergbe and mixed and mastered by Pizzarro Beat. The track sets a reflective tone, as Keeny speaks candidly to the heavens about life’s pressures and aspirations. The second track, “So Hard,” also handled entirely by Hairlergbe, carries the same emotional weight, channeling the daily struggles of young Africans trying to make ends meet. “Phil Foden,” a high-energy track produced by A-SWAG and finished by Pizzarro Beat, cleverly draws parallels between the English football star’s sharpness on the pitch and Keeny’s confidence in the booth.
Track four, “Window,” features Kwesi Amewugah and introduces a soulful soundscape courtesy of producer Kezii, with mixing and mastering done by Phredxter. It provides a melodic break while still tackling deep themes. “Dali,” which sees Keeny teaming up with the ever-lethal Lyrical Joe, is a lyrical heavyweight moment, once again backed by Hairlergbe and polished by Phredxter. The EP closes with “Who,” produced, mixed, and mastered by Leiser Beatz — a bold, contemplative track that questions loyalty and challenges listeners to look within.

With contributions from top-tier producers including Hairlergbe, Pizzarro Beat, Kezii, Phredxter, and Leiser Beatz, “Ice Cold” achieves a sonic consistency that’s both modern and deeply rooted in Ghanaian reality.
This release marks another powerful chapter in Keeny Ice’s journey, reinforcing his role as a voice for the streets and a force within Ghana’s new wave of hip-hop artists. For fans of authentic rap, solid production, and emotionally honest songwriting, “Ice Cold” is a must-listen.
