“We know the price that must be paid — sacrifice, discipline, relentless effort, and total dedication — if we are to honour the dreams and expectations of the people of Ghana,” the coach stated.
The message emphasized the importance of setting a different tone from the very beginning of the competition, insisting that success can only come through unity, hard work, and collective belief.
“If our dream is to make the difference at the end, we have to start by being different at the beginning,” he added.
Coach Queiroz also called on the players to fight for every moment during the tournament, highlighting the emotional connection between the team and the millions of supporters back home.
“One Team. 33 million hearts. One heartbeat. The journey starts now. Enjoy it!”
The motivational statement has already sparked excitement among Ghanaian football fans, many of whom believe the Black Stars can make a strong impact at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will be aiming to surpass its historic quarter-final run at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and re-establish itself among the elite football nations on the international stage.
