Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has reaffirmed his strong ties with global sportswear brand PUMA, while highlighting the company’s long-standing relationship with Ghana football.

Speaking on his association with the brand, Gyan expressed appreciation for PUMA’s continuous support, especially as Ghana prepares for another FIFA World Cup year.

“PUMA has been our main sponsor for more than a decade. In Ghana, and a World Cup year to have the national team jerseys and everything, and I'm very happy to be a part of it.”
The former striker, who enjoyed a successful international career with the Black Stars, revealed that his personal experience with the brand dates back to his playing days.

“Personally when I was playing, I was working with PUMA so I know what PUMA has done for me and what PUMA is doing for my country as well, and other countries.”

Gyan emphasized that his presence and continued involvement with the brand is driven by loyalty and belief in its impact on African football.
“So I'm here for PUMA.”

PUMA has remained a key partner of the Ghana national team, supplying kits and supporting football development over the years, making it one of the most recognizable brands associated with the Black Stars.

Gyan’s endorsement further reinforces the brand’s influence, as Ghana gears up for future international competitions with renewed ambition.
