The 2025 edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff, is here — and it promises to be the biggest celebration of Ghanaian DJ culture yet. Organizers, Merqury Republic, unveiled the full list of nominees for the 13th edition on Friday, October 24, 2025, sparking excitement across the country’s buzzing entertainment scene.
Leading this year’s nominations is the highly acclaimed DJ Sly King, who secured eight (8) nominations, including the coveted DJ of the Year and Best Mobile DJ categories. Hot on his heels is the reigning DJ of the Year, DJ Lord OTB, who earned seven (7) nominations — setting the stage for a thrilling showdown between two of Ghana’s most celebrated turntable masters.
The 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards nominations reflect a decade of growth, creativity, and excellence in Ghana’s DJ and entertainment industry. The list celebrates both established and emerging talents who continue to push the boundaries of sound, performance, and nightlife experiences across the country.
The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre, starting at 7 PM. The show will be broadcast live on Joy Prime, promising an electrifying atmosphere with performances, celebrity appearances, and unforgettable moments.

Honorary Awards
This year’s honorary recipients include:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Doreen Andoh — for her legendary contribution to Ghanaian radio and DJ culture.
Master of Production Award: Frank Kwakye — for excellence in sound engineering and music production.
Culture Enabler Award: To be announced on event night.
