A Ghanaian Gospel musician, Broda Sammy and Reggae-Dancehall artist Ras Kuuku collaborated on a new song titled "Tumi"
“Tumi”, which translates from the Twi Language in Ghana means “Power”, and per the song, wherever the power of God prevails, everything does prevail under that power. Hence, the will of God overrides any other will.
“Tumi”, released on Wednesday, October 29, 2024 via MiPROMO Distribution platform is available across all major music download and streaming stores.
The song according to Ras Kuuku, “the song talkas about the hustle in life, what we go through and we pray that the Almighty God intervenes and let His Power protect us. It is a Reggae cut that fits into the Gospel category. Putting Broda Sammy on it was purposely done so the message in the song can cross over to the gospel community and amplify the message it carries in the lyrics”, he explained.
“Tumi” was Originally produced by Bozybeatz but this live version was Odukrom International Band and mixed by IbeeOnDaBeat.
Broda Sammy brought a good synergy on the song that makes it the perfect pick for the song feature.
Ras Kuuku is keen on copping the Male Vocalist Of The Year Award at the Ghana Music Awards; one of the award categories he keenly looks out for. Ras Kuuku won “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year” under the scheme in 2020 and has also been nominated multiple times under the same scheme.
