According to reports, Agya Wiase explained that throughout Florence’s years of working for him, she never caused him any financial loss or operational challenges — something he described as rare in the transport business. Because of her consistent professionalism and reliability, he decided to surprise her with the VIP bus so she could begin operating her own vehicle and earn independently.
For over a decade, Florence has driven long-distance routes across Ghana, including the busy Accra–Kumasi corridor and other intercity routes. Working in a field largely dominated by men, she built a reputation for her calm professionalism, discipline, and respect for passengers.
The emotional presentation moment was captured on video and has since circulated widely on social media, drawing admiration from many Ghanaians. Several people have praised Agya Wiase for recognizing hard work and for creating an opportunity that could encourage more women to venture into the transport industry.
Online reactions have also celebrated Florence Marfo as a symbol of resilience and determination, with many describing her as a “woman of valour” whose dedication has finally paid off.
Her inspiring journey continues to resonate with many, serving as a powerful reminder that loyalty, hard work, and consistency can open doors to life-changing opportunities.
