Gabonese rapper, Benjamin Epps, based in France on October 4, 2022, won the BET Best Hip Hop International Flow Award, cutting short Ghana’s dream of bagging the most prestigious award for the second time
The Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Black Sherif, who bagged a nomination in the Best Hip Hop Awards category this year, was hoping for a win together with his sad boys.
Music lovers and listeners, including some of his colleagues, threw their support behind him.

Black Sherif is the second Ghanaian to bag a nomination after Sarkodie, a Ghanaian heavyweight rapper, who won it (International Flow) in the 2019 category.
This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, which celebrates black culture took place in Atlanta and was hosted by American sensation rapper, Fat Joe.

Meanwhile, Black Sherif the preacher is set to drop his debut album named “The Villain I Never Was” which houses 14 tracks on October 6, 2022
