| Cyber Crime Offenders Ceased |
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA), working closely with National Security operatives, has arrested 32 Nigerian nationals in a coordinated early morning operation at Kasoa–Tuba, as Ghana intensifies efforts to clamp down on cybercrime.
The joint raid led to the seizure of 31 laptops and 15 mobile phones believed to have been used in cyber-related offences. Security sources say the suspects were picked up after weeks of intelligence gathering and surveillance in the area.
All 32 suspects are currently in custody and assisting investigators, while the seized electronic devices are undergoing forensic examination to establish the full scope of the alleged activities and any possible networks involved.

Officials at the CSA say the operation is part of a broader, sustained national campaign to protect Ghana’s digital ecosystem from fraud, identity theft, online scams, and other emerging cyber threats that continue to affect individuals and businesses.
“The fight against cybercrime requires strong collaboration and vigilance,” a source close to the operation noted. “This action sends a clear signal that Ghana’s digital space will not be allowed to become a safe haven for cybercriminals.”
The Cyber Security Authority has reiterated its commitment to working with National Security and other law enforcement agencies to keep the country’s cyberspace safe. The public has also been urged to report suspicious online activities through the appropriate channels to support ongoing enforcement and prevention efforts.
Investigations are ongoing, and further updates are expected as authorities analyze the seized devices and process the suspects in line with the law.
