Named “ITRI” — a nod to the star motif found on the Moroccan flag — the ball draws deep from Morocco’s artistic heritage. It takes visual cues from the centuries-old zellij mosaic art form, where hand-cut tiles form intricate geometric patterns.
The star geometry speaks to ambition, light and the pursuit of excellence on Africa’s grandest football stage.
Petal-shapes reflect celebration, growth and the festive spirit that the tournament embodies.
Circular symmetry symbolises unity — as 24 nations converge under one continental rhythm.
The red and green palette honours Morocco’s national identity, while dynamic “Flow of Movement” lines capture the unmistakable rhythm of African football.
But this isn’t just a pretty ball. Behind the artistry lies PUMA’s cutting-edge Orbita 6 technology — engineered for precision, balance, swerve control and flight stability at the highest level.

Mohamed Ghonemi, CAF’s Creative Development Manager, said:
