Athletic Club have officially launched their 2025–26 home kit in collaboration with technical partner Castore, marking a historic milestone in the club’s rich heritage.
The release pays tribute to the centenary of the bust of legendary forward Rafael “Pichichi” Moreno being placed at San Mamés in December 1926—a tradition that inspired the floral homage visiting teams lay before their first official match at the stadium.

This season’s shirt carries that legacy forward with a unique detail: the Eguzkilore, a traditional Basque flower symbolising protection and resilience, is featured on the upper back. Deeply rooted in Basque mythology, the Eguzkilore adds a modern cultural touch to the tribute.

The kit showcases Athletic’s iconic red and white stripes, paired with a black polo collar trimmed in red and white, and coordinated sleeve cuffs. The Castore logo and main sponsor Kutxabank are positioned on the chest, with Kosner branding replacing Kutxabank on the women’s version. The club crest appears as a silicone application on the Pro edition and embroidered on the Replica.
