MrBeast visits Suhum constituency of Ghana

Renowned American YouTuber and philanthropist, James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson popularly know as MrBeast, has launched a transformative school feeding programme aimed at supporting education in Ghana’s Suhum constituency. The initiative, designed to provide nutritious meals to students, will benefit Tei Mensa Basic School, Okanta Presby, and Amanhyia R/C Primary and Junior High School, all located in farming communities.
For many children in these areas, attending school on an empty stomach is a harsh reality that affects their concentration and overall academic performance. MrBeast’s intervention seeks to tackle this challenge, ensuring that students have access to regular, healthy meals that will fuel their learning and development.

Beyond just meals, the programme extends further support to Tei Mensa Basic School and Amanhyia Basic School by providing agricultural resources, learning materials, and food supplies for their communities. This holistic approach is expected to create a sustainable impact, empowering not only the students but also their families.

Speaking on the initiative, a community member expressed gratitude, saying, “This is a blessing for our children. Many of them struggle to focus in school because of hunger. With this support, they can learn better and dream bigger.”

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his large-scale philanthropic projects across the world. His latest effort in Ghana underscores his commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need.

As the school feeding programme takes effect, students in the Suhum constituency can look forward to brighter days ahead—where hunger no longer stands in the way of their education and future aspirations.
