The stage is set for the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco as the final draw has been conducted, placing Africa's top teams into six competitive groups. Group A: Hosts Morocco Face Tough Opponents

Group D: Senegal Leads an Open Group
Defending champions Senegal will compete in Group D, where they are grouped with DR Congo, Benin, and Botswana. The Teranga Lions will be favorites, but DR Congo, known for their physical style of play, could pose a challenge.
Group E: Algeria and Burkina Faso Brace for a Battle
2019 champions Algeria find themselves in Group E with Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Sudan. Burkina Faso, a team that has impressed in recent AFCON tournaments, could be Algeria’s biggest obstacle in the race for the knockout stage.
Group F: Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon in the "Group of Death"
Arguably the toughest group, Group F, features powerhouses Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon, alongside Gabon and Mozambique. With multiple AFCON titles between them, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon will be expected to dominate, but Gabon, if they have star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang available, could cause surprises.
