You can’t sweep anything under the carpet; do the needful — Hammer to Black Sherif

Renowned record engineer, Hammer of the Last Two has warned Black Sherif to take the lawsuit by his former investors seriously or risk it being used against him in the future.

His advise comes after Black Sherif’s former financier, Shadrach Agyei Owusu, aka Snap, accused the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ hitmaker of abandoning him to negotiate a record deal with Empire Distribution without his consent.

DJ Slim, a Kumasi-based radio show host, was the first to make the issue public on his show. He accused Black Sherif of being ungrateful because, he claimed, Black Sherif had thrown away a seven-bedroom mansion, a car, and other personal belongings that his manager had given him as his fame soared.

Hammer added that the situation should not have reached this point. To him, it would be preferable if the artist was open about everything that led up to this.

“Doesn’t have to come to that point. You can’t sweep anything under the carpet. I believe he needs to do the needful and deal with this situation once and for all. Or else it’ll always come back,” he wrote under a Facebook post.
